Success Story — Deborah
“The Journey of a Thousand Miles Begins with a Single Step.”
When Debbie and I had our initial consultation to discuss her health goals, she had a one track mind! She wanted to lose the weight that she thought was holding her back from happiness. She was determined and I ready to commit. However, what I believe she was ready to sign up for was another quick diet plan. I would put her on the latest and greatest trend or maybe I had some magic pill of my own to prescribe and after 90 days of working with me her “weight issue” would be fixed.
After actively listening to Debbie, what I heard was a beautiful amazing mother of three subconsciously placing too much self worth on that damn number. For her, that scale weighed more than her physical body weight. She is by no means alone. Weight has been used as a control mechanism affecting women more than men throughout history. Together, we strategized a plan to tackle the root causes of her mindset so her whole body health could be optimised rather than focusing on a quick fix that would undoubtably resume in the same repetitive cycle of yoyo dieting and sadness.
Not so fast though!!! I value my client’s desires to reach their weight goals!!! If you want to lose excess weight, I will work whole heartedly with my clients to achieve goals with sustainable results.
Debbie’s success is largely a result of small habitual changes that added up over time. She enrolled in the three month Lutritious Method and we are currently working on a hormone balance program as we continue her health journey.
Although it sounds trivial, Debbie still raves about the creamer I enlightened her to. These changes do make a difference. Each morning she looks forward to her coffee ritual sans the sugar and dairy that was originally spiking her insulin level right out the front door! Now she enjoys her coffee without a roller coaster ride leading to poor food choices for breakfast.
